PHA Straws (PolyHydroxy Alkanoate)

One unique property all these PHA product families possess is their biodegradable behavior in soil & marine , in aerobic and anaerobic conditions with the help of Microbes presence.

This versatile biodegradation behavior ensures that no -micro-plastics will remain in the environment over time. PHA materials can substitute petroleum plastics for one-time-use applications that often by design or improper waste management end up in the environment (e.g. micro-beads in cosmetic products or drinking straws at the land fill or waterways ). Biodegradation of PHA materials in all environments (Industrial, Soil, Landfill and Marine) is comparable to or faster than cellulose (i.e. paper).

A unique cross link bio-polymer combine from PLA (PolyLacticAcid), a biodegradable thermoplastic derived from natural plant sources, with other biodegradable polymers (or bio-polymers) like PBAT, PBS or Bio-PBS to create a strong yet flexible materials. Available in heat resistance at 55C and 90C, both has the EN13432 and ASTM6400 Certification.

PLA is made from dextrose, a sugar produced by plants. Currently, the most common raw material for PLA is field corn, although other plant sources may be used in the future. On average, the production of PLA resin uses about 52% less energy than the production of petroleum-based resins. Similarly, manufacturing PLA resin produces 80% less greenhouse gases than traditional petroleum-based resin (Source).

Made In Indonesia biomass plastic derived from 20% cassava starch (non-Industrial type) and blended with conventional Polypropylene (80%). We use new technology to upcycle cassava starch that is not treated as food source.

We are aiming to reduce 40% of conventional nonsustainable material and at the same time to reduce the carbon emission (CO2) as part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) by United Nation (UN). This typical material would be the most suitable type where waste are being Incarnated (Japan, Singapore for example).

Climate change is one of the biggest challenges facing humanity. Every action we take as a business has a consequence, so we have taken steps to lower the carbon emissions that come from our manufacturing. Bio-Polyethylene is a plastic produced from sugarcane, a renewable source raw material, while the traditional Polyethylene uses fossil source raw materials such as oil or natural gas.

For this reason Bio Polyethylene captures and fixes CO2 from the atmosphere during it’s production, helping to reduce greenhouse gases emission

Paper Straw

Our spiral winded Paper Straws are made from 3 and 4 plies of paper.

All of our Paper Straws are Traceable from paper making until origin of species of wood to ensure all the supply chain being certified and audited by Certification Body and all papers are coming from Managed Sustainable Forest.

Our Compostable & Biodegradable Paper Straw don’t consist any plastic coating, and it is Food Contact Approved according to LFGB and BfR Standard.

All papers are made from virgin pulp, chlorine-free TCF or ECF pulp and confirm to the highest standard Food Contact reckon in the Foodservice Industry for direct contact with food (Free from PFOA, PFOS & BPA as well).
